Museum Events

Night at the Museum was Friday, January 14th, and plenty of fun was had by all. With over 300 visitors, the event was a great success. Chambergrass performed, and Sylvan Heights waterfowl park provided live birds. Former Mayor Thomas Emry, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington joined us for the festivities. Kids enjoyed crafts and games downstairs, along with a simulation of a plane crash along the canal trail, while upstairs guests walked through our indoor forest, fed the birds, listened to some great music, and mingled with our famous guests from the past. Many thanks to all those that participated. We are already looking forward to next year!

In the upcoming year we have lots of events planned, with the next upcoming event being our lecture series kickoff. Dr. John Dilustro will be speaking at 6:30pm on the 25th of January, and the cost is $4 a person, and that includes admission to the Museum on the day of the lecture. Come join us for a fun, informative evening at the Museum.
